The best part of the Super Bowl

Around this time of year, the Internet is exploding with the best tasting, fattiest and most cholesterol-laden recipes for that lovely tradition: the Super Bowl. Are you having a party? Are you going to a party? Are you watching it alone? Or maybe you’re watching Breakfast at Tiffany’s and had no idea the Super Bowl is this weekend.

Whatever your situation on Sunday, Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip is essential.

This dip is designed for meat-n-cheesetarians, but if you are a vegetarian, simply leave out the chicken, or add tofu and it will be just as tasty. Now, the sacred instructions:

Ingredients:

2 chicken breasts

1 1/2 – 2 cups of shredded marble or cheddar cheese

1 cup of blue cheese salad dressing (Renee’s works best)

1 package of cream cheese

1/2 cup of hot sauce (Frank’s regular is preferred)

Directions:

Cut up uncooked chicken breasts into pieces about the size of a quarter. Cook the chicken in a frying pan with a little oil and a little hot sauce. Preheat oven to 375°F . Mix all ingredients together in an oven-safe cookware dish. Place in preheated oven, uncovered for 30 minutes. When the dip is done, there will be an overwhelming amount of grease on top – use a ladle, spoon, or paper towel to remove as much grease as possible. Enjoy with tortilla chips.
